At INTO SLU, we want to make sure you have everything you need to succeed. We have many resources available to help you feel at home on campus and succeed in the classroom.
The INTO SLU Student Handbook will provide you with information about our policies and procedures.
SLU’s English Language Center works with any speakers of English, undergraduate or graduate, who need writing assistance.
The University Office of International Services provides visa support, orientation sessions, an international student lounge and cultural events. For more information, view the International Student Handbook.
SLU will conduct placement testing during orientation to make sure you are in the program that is right for you. These tests include the Oxford Online Placement Test (OOPT) and the SLU Writing Examination (SLUWE).
The SLU Writing Examination is a placement exam for non-native English speakers. It measures language proficiency in writing, reading and grammar. The test is different for graduate and undergraduate students.
